The pile of resistors on the left side is the luma DAC. I tried 2 different CD4050 chips, and they both looked the same, so it doesn't matter which manufacturer you get. The bottom 75 Ohm resistor is the output, which I later changed to a 500 Ohm potentiometer. 75 was a bit too high, and I adjusted it down to get the bright colors a little brighter.
